What is childhood constipation?

When your little one’s stools become hard, dry, and difficult to pass, they experience constipation. This is common in children, particularly when they switch from a liquid diet to solids or are undergoing forced potty training or are starting school.

Manage your child’s constipation with MuOUT – a laxative for infants and kids. Using laxatives will help restore your child’s normal bowel habit. It is always a good idea to talk to your doctor to manage your child’s constipation.

How you can prevent future constipation episodes?

Behaviour and discipline play a major role in childhood constipation. Creating an organised toilet routine by encouraging your child to use the toilet at a similar time each day will help. Reward them for using the toilet during playtime – to discourage the behaviour of ‘holding in’. And ultimately, a fibre-rich well-balanced diet with enough hydration is extremely important for children.
